Day 5 of the World DanceSport Games gave the Hip Hop dancers, the Cheerleading teams and the Latin couples the chance to compete in the games. The Hip Hop competitions were held in four sections: solo male, solo female, double and small groups. So we had medalists in every section. The medalists of the Cheerleading competition highly impressed the spectators. Really exciting shows! The final summit of course was the Latin competition. Day 4: Boogie Woogie – Wheelchair Latin – Standard
The forth day brought Boogie Woogie, Wheelchair Latin and Standard on stage. Thorbjorn Solvoll - Susanne Barhald Sanderbg from Norway went for gold in Booogie Woogie. Gold was also the result for Sergey Antonov - Olga Beliaeva from Russian Federation in Wheelchair Latin section. Day 3: Line Dance – Salsa – RockĀ“n Roll
Third day was the time for Line Dance, Salsa and Rock`n Roll. In the Line DanceFemale,Siobhan Yasmin Dunn from England won the gold medal. Line Dance Male was won by Shane McKeever from Irland. Jacek Eryk Tarczylo - Anna Miadzielec from Poland were lucky to win gold in Rock`n Roll. Jakub Mazuch - Michaela Gatekova from Czech Republic achieved to win the Salsa competition. Day 2: ShowDance Standard – Formation Latin – Taiker Dance
Second day started with the ShowDance Standard competition. 14 couples presented their shows. Simone Segatori - Annette Sudol from Germany, who just had won the World Championship ShowDance Standard for the second time in Beijing only one week before, achieved the gold medal in Kaohsiung.

Day 1: Opening Ceremony – ShowDance LAT – Formation STD
Kaohsiung Arena / Chinese Taipei set the stage for the first WDSF World DanceSport Games September 16th - 20th 2013. More than 770 athletes from 49 countries had come to Kaohsiung to join the competitions tendered in 13 disciplines. During the five days of competitions the Kaohsiung Arena was filled up to 12.000 spectators during the highlights of the World DanceSport Games.
13-10 WDSF PD World Championship Latin 2013 – Ostrava / Czech Repubic
Martino Zanibellato - Michelle Abildtrup from Denmark won the title ahead of Vladimir Karpov - Mariya Tzaptashvilli from Russian Federation, who achieved runners up position. Verena Sulek, WDSF PD Director, welcomed 37 latin couples from 21 countries in Europe, Asia and Australia in Ostrava / Czech Republic to compete for the title of world champion latin of the WDSF Professional Division 2013. Eva Bartunkova, President of Czech Dance Sport Federation, was glad to host the top professional latin couples this year in Ostrava.

Stefano Bernardini - Stefania Martellini from Italy win the title. Titleholder Tassilo & Sabine Lax from Germany are set on 2nd place. Stefano & Stefania achieve 1st place in tango and slow foxtrot. Tassilo & Sabine win the waltz and the viennese waltz. In the quickstep both couples attain four 1st places and three 2nd places. So the result was very tight.
13-10 WDSF World Championship Formation Standard 2013 – Tyumen / Russian Federation
The Vera Tyumen Standard Team are the new world champions in formation standard . Braunschweiger TSC from Germany are 2nd runner-up ahead of TSC Ludwigsburg / Germany . Univers Minsk from Belarus attained 4th place followed by Step in Time Formation from the Netherlands. Second Russian Formation Team Olympia achieved 6th place in the final.
