Last but not least Campionati Italiani 2014 set the stage for the fifth world championship at this weekend in Rimini. 16 couples from WDSF Professional Division Master Class I Standard had come to cover their world championship. WDSF PD World Championship Master Class I Latin had taken place in Rimini on July 12th. Eleven couples from Italy participated and found the new world champions master class I in latin: Andrea Leandri - Maria Christina Trevisol won the title with 7 points curtly ahead of Salvatore Falcone - Sonia Alessi, who achieved runner-up position with 8 points. July 5th was a long day at 11th danceComp in Wuppertal. The competitions began at 8.30 a.m. with WDSF Open Senior II STD. The highlight of the day - WDSF PD Word Championship Masterclass II Standard - startet with the opening ceremony followed by the first rounds late in the evening at 10.20 p.m. Prize presentation ended at 1.56 a.m. on July 6th. A very long day for all adjudicators and officials and of course for a very late beginning for the 17 couples ... Heinz-Josel & Aurelia Bickert from Germany at the end took the cup of the winner home. Read more [...]
