2017 German Open Championships in Stuttgart / Germany set the stage for the 4th leg of WDSF Grand Slam Standard. 242 couples attended the competition. Dmitry Zharkov - Olga Kulikova from Russian Federation achieved 1st place ahead of Simone Segatori - Annette Sudol from Germany, who won runners-up position. 3rd place was given to Evaldas Sodeika - Ieva Zukauskaite from Lithuania.
17-08 WDSF Grand Slam Latin – GOC Stuttgart / Germany
10th August: it is Grand Slam Latin time in Stuttgart at the German Open Championships. 272 couples have come to compete. In the evening of the next day the six couples have qualified for the final. Winners are Gabriele Goffredo - Anna Matus from Moldova followed by Marius-Andrei Balan - Khrystyna Moshenska from Germany, who achieve runners-up position. Timur Imametdinov - Nina Bezzubova from Germany win 3rd place.
17-08 WDSF PD Super Grand Prix LAT – GOC Stuttgart / Germany
Third day at German Open Championships in Stuttgart / Germany was impressed by Professional Division Super Grand Prix Latin competition. 49 couples from 17 nations joined the Super Grand Prix Latin. First place was given to Marts Smolko - Tina Bazykina from Latvia. Vitaly Panteleev - Angelina Nechkhaeva from Russian Federation achieved runners-up position. Dmitry Pugachev - Anastasia Selivanova from Russian Federation won 3rd place.
17-08 WDSF PD Super Grand Prix STD – GOC Stuttgart / Germany
WDSF Professional Division Super Grand Prix Standard was the first highlight at the opening day of this year`s German Open Championships. 55 couples from 16 nations joined the competition. Benedetto Ferruggia - Claudia Köhler / Germany won the Super Grand Prix Standard ahead of Donatas Vezelis - Lina Chatkeviciute from Lithuania, who achieved runners-up position. Third place was given to Giuseppe Longarini - Katarzyna Kapral from Poland.
17-08 WDSF SEN IV – German Open Championships / Stuttgart
2017 German Open Championships set the stage for WDSF Open Senior IV competition on August 9th. 97 couples from all over the world had come to compete in Stuttgart. After 5 rounds seven finalists were identified. Six of them come from Italy, one from Japan. At the end Luciano Cerati - Rosa Nuccia Capello from Italy won the competition ahead of runners-up Nicholas Nero - Anna Maria Arzenton from Italy. Vittorio Guida - Fortuna Canta from Italy won 3rd place.
17-07 The World Games 2017 Wroclaw / Poland – Rock`n Roll
Last but not least the Rock`n Roll discipline came up. 14 couples attended the competition. At the end, Jacke Tarczylo - Anna Miadzielec from Poland was honored for winning the Gold Medal. Konstantin Chistikov - Kenia Osnovina from Russian Federation achieved Silver Medal. The Bronze Medal was given to Tobias Bludau - Michelle Uhl from Germany. Congratulations to the medialists.
17-07 The World Games 2017 Wroclaw / Poland – Latin
The World Games Dancesport Latin discipline was covered by 23 couples. The winner of 2013 World Games in Cali also won the Gold Medal in 2017. Congratulations to Gabriele Goffredo - Anna Matus from Moldova. Runners-up position was given to Armen Tsaturyan - Svetlana Gudyno from Russian Federation. Congratulations for winning the Silver Medal. Charles-Guillaume Schmitt - Elena Salikhova from France achieved the Bronze Medal. Congratulations to the couple.
17-07 The World Games 2017 Wroclaw / Poland – Salsa
10 couples had been qualified for the Salsa On One Adult competition at The World Games 2017 in Wroclaw. The audience saw an head to head fight between the two couples from Colombia. At least, the Gold Medal was won by Stevens Rebolledo Montano - Yinessa Ortega ahed of the winners of the last World Games in Colombia in 2013 - Jefferson Benjumea - Adriana Avila Molina, who achieved the Silver Medal. Bronze Medal was given to Simone Sanfilippo Tab`- Serena Maos from Italy.

The World Games 2017 was held at Centennial Hall in Wroclaw / Poland on July 28th. 24 couples from 24 nations danced for gold. And the winners are ...
