17-12 WDSF World Championship Formation Latin, Vienna / Austria

Multiversum Schwechat near Vienna / Austria also set the stage for 2017 World Championship Formation Latin. 18 teams from 10 nations had come to compete for the title. There was a change at the top this year. Duett Perm from Russian Federation won the title for the first time. Grün-Gold-Club Bremen from Germany achieved runners-up position. 17-12 WDSF PD World Championship ShowDance Standard, Vienna / Austria

The 2017 WDSF PD World Championship ShowDance Standard was held on December 9th at Multiversum / Schwechat in Austria. 16 couples had come to compete for the title. At the end Vadim Garbuzov - Kathrin Menzinger from Austria defended their title and won the World ShowDance Standard with their presentation of "Elisabeth". Runners-up position was given to Bjorn Bitsch - Ashli Williamson from Denmark with their presentation of "Game Of Thrones". 17-12 WDSF PD Final Super Grand Prix Standard – Moscow / Russian Federation

On December 3rd the first WDSF PD Final Super Grand Prix Standard was held at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Moscow. The top seven couples of the PD Super Grand Prix series 2017 had been invited to compete in this final. Benedetto Ferruggia - Claudia Koehler from Germany won the competition ahead of Donatas Vezelis - Lina Chatkeviciute from Lithuania, who attained runners-up position. 17-12 WDSF PD Final Super Grand Prix Latin – Moscow / Russian Federation

It was the first WDSF PD Final Super Grand Prix Latin & Standard ever. Dance Promotion Group had organized this very special event at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Moscow on December 2nd. The top seven couples of the PD Super Grand Prix series had been invited to compete in this final. Pavel Pasechnik - Marta Arndt from Germany won all five dances ahead of Marts Smolko - Tina bazykina from Lativa, who achieved runners-up position. Dmitry Pugachev - Anastasia Selivanova from Russian Federation attained third place. With a firework display the finalists were honored for their excellent performance. Read more [...]
