For the second time WDSF World Championship Formation Standard was organized by the Hungarian DanceSport Association in Pécs. 15 formation teams from 9 nations had come to Hungary. In the final rounds we saw 2 teams from Hungary, 2 teams from Russia and 2 teams from Germany. The European Champions of 2018 in Sochi, Vera Tyumen Standard Team from Russian Federation, also won the the World Championship in Pécs. 2nd place was given to Triumph Ufa from Russian Federation. Braunschweiger TSC from Germany achieved 3rd place ahead of 1. TC Ludwigsburg from Germany, who were set on 4th place. 5th place was given to Szilver TSC from Hungary and 6th place was won by Adria-Szigo KTSE from Hungary.

The 25th Austrian Open Championships set the stage for 2018 WDSF World Championship Standard at Multiversum in Vienna - Schwechat. 81 couples from all over the world had come to this most important competition of the year. Dmitry Zharkov - Olga Kulikova from Russian Federation again won the title - for the fourth time this year! Runners-up position was given to Evaldas Sodeika - Ieva Zukauskaite from Lithuania. Francesco Galuppo - Debora Pacini from Italy achieved 3rd place.

Polish Cup 2018 - International Dance Festival in Warsaw / Poland set the stage for the 2018 WDSF World Championship 10 Dance. 38 couples from 38 nations had come to Warsaw to compete for the title. Konstantin Gorodilov - Dominika Bergmannova from Estonia won the title ahead of Daniil Ulanov - Kateryna Isakovych from Cyprus, who achieved runners-up position. 3rd place was given to Winson Tam - Anastasia Novikova from Canada.
18-11 WDSF PD World Championship Ten Dance | Vila Nova de Famalicao / Portugal
Vila Nova de Famalicao in Portugal was the place on Saturday, Nov. 3rd. Academia Ginvanca had organized the 2018 PD World Championship Ten Dance in Pavilhao Muncipal de Vila de Famalicao. 19 couples from 14 nations had come to compete. Bjorn Bitsch - Ashli Williamson from Denmark for the second time in PD won the title. Runners-up position was given to Mario Cecinati - Rosaria Messina Denare from Italy. Nicolaj Lund - Marta Kocik from Denmark achieved 3rd place.
