After 5 days filled with excellent dancing at the German Open Championship, Saturday night presents the last highlight of the week: the Grand Slam Standard. 228 couples had started on Friday morning at 9.30 a.m. On Saturday 3 minutes before midnight, the last quickstep of the final ended. It was Simone Segatori - Annette Sudol from Germany who could do their dance of honor into Sunday morning.

The competition started on Thursday at 8.30 a.m. and the final ended a few minutes before midnight on Friday. 287 couples had started on Thursday morning. After 7 rounds the 12 adjudicators had identified the 6 finalists.

WDSF Professional Division had invited to join the Super Grand Prix Latin in Stuttgart on August 14th during the GOC. 54 couples had come. The final was dominated by 4 couples from Russian Federation, who achieved places 2, 3, 4 and 6. Martino Zanibellato - Michelle Abildtrup from Denmark won the competition ahead of Andrey Zaytsev - Elizaveta Cherevichnaya from Russia.
