The "CODREANCA 2023" in Chisinau / Moldova set the stage for the WDSF European Championship Youth Latin on April 15th. 48 couples from 26 countries had come to Chisinau to join the championship. Armand Georgescu - Kamila Novosyolova from Moldova won the title ahead of Walter Bogdan Costner - Andreea Daiana Dumitru from Romania, who achieved runners-up position. 3rd place was given to Joao Sant´Anna - Pinto Luna from Portugal.
Another highlight in Mülheim an der Ruhr: The WDSF World Championship ShowDance Latin starts on December 11th 2022 with 15 couples from 11 countries. Artur Balandin - Anna Salita from Germany win the title with their show "Breathe". 2nd place is given to Paraschiv Mihai Vlad - Iosub Antonia Ioana from Romania. Ryan Zhumatayev - Ekaterina Panteleeva from Kazakhstan achieve 3rd place with their show "Roxolana".
Tanzsportverband Nordrhein-Westfalen e.V. set the stage for the 2022 WDSF World Championship Latin on December 11th in Mülheim an der Ruhr. 65 couples from joined the competition. Marius-Andre Balan - Khrystyna Moshenska from Germany won the title ahead of Charles-Guillaume Schmitt - Elena Salikhova from France, who achieved runners-up position. 3rd place was given to Edgar Marcos Borjas - Alina Nowak from Poland.
On Sunday, Dec. 4th, FIDS presented the highlight of the 2022 Rimini DanceSport Championships: WDSF World Championship Standard. 59 couples from all over the world had come to Rimini to compete for the title. We saw a most exciting final due to the top dancing and the results of the five dances. At the end Francesco Galuppo - Debora Pacini from Italy won the Worlds Standard curtly ahead of Evaldas Sodeika - Ieva Zukauskaite from Lithuania, who achieved runners-up position. 3rd place was given to Tomas fainsil - Violetta Fainsil from Germany.
Federal Italien DanceSport set the stage for the 2022 WDSF World Championship SEN II Standard in Rimini on December 2nd. 88 SEN II couples from all over the world had come to Rimini to join this championship. At the end Manuele Marinozzi - Sara Romagnoli from Italy won the title. 2nd place was given to Gates Simsons - Julia Simone from Latvia. Lionel Lepreux - Charlotte Millville from France achieved 3rd place.
It was not only the World Championship Formation Standard, but also the WDSF World Championship Latin at the same evening organized by Braunschweiger TSC. 14 teams from 8 countries made their way to Volkswagen Hall on October 15th. And the winner-team comes from Grün-Gold-Club Bremen with their show "Emotion 2022". Runners-up position was given to the team Moon Dance from Mongolia for their show "The Power of the 4 Elements". TSG Bremerhaven from Germany achieves 3rd place with "Time Machine".
The Braunschweiger TSC set the stage for the 2022 WDSF World Championships Formation Standard and Latin on October 15th in Braunschweig Volkswagen Hall. In the standard competition 15 teams from 11 countries started for the title. And the winners are ... the A-Team from Braunschweiger TSC in Germany. Runners-up position was given to the European Champions, Tanzsportteam im ASC Göttingen. TSK Juventus Wien achieved 3rd place.
The last highlight of the 2022 German Open Championships in Stuttgart was the WDSF Grand Slam Latin. 175 couples from all over the world had started on Friday with this huge competition. Saturday night we saw the six couples, who had been qualified for the final. And the winners are ... Marius-Andrei Balan - Khrystyna Moshenska from Germany. Charles-Guillaume Schmitt - Elena Salikhova from France achieve the runners-up position. Edgar Marcos Borjas - Alina Nowak from Poland attain 3rd place.
Friday night was the time for the final rounds of the WDSF Grand Slam Standard at the 2022 German Open Championships event in Stuttgart. After 3 years of waiting since 2019 the Liederhalle was completely filled with the audience. 175 couples had started in round 1 on Thursday. At the end Evaldas Sodeika - Ieva Zukauskaite from Lithuania win the Grand Slam Standard in Stuttgart. Francesco Galuppo - Debora Pacini from Italy get runners-up position ahead of Tomas Fainsil - Violetta Fainsil from Germany, who achieve 3rd place.
After 2 years of outfall, on 2022 May 28th, the WDSF European Championship Formation Latin was held in Schwechat / Vienna in Austria. 8 teams from 5 countries had come to compete for the title. At the end Grün-Gold-Club Bremen won the title with their show "Emozioni" ahead of the HSV Zwölfaxing A-Team from Austria, which achieved the runners-up position with their show "One Chance". 3rd place was given to TSG Bremerhaven for their show "Time Machine".
