The Canadian DanceSport Federation set the stage for the 2022 WDSF Professional Division World Championship Standard in Toronto on October 23rd. 19 couples from 15 countries had come to Toronto to compete for the "Worlds". Nikolay Darin - Natalia Seredina from Moldova won the title ahead of Vaidotas Lacitis - Veronika Golodneva from Lithuania, who achieved runners-up position. 3rd place was given to Edgars Lines - Eliza Line from Latvia.
The International DanceSport Festival Leipzig also set the stage for the WDSF Professional Division World Championship ShowDance Standard. Alexandra Ionel - Patricija Ionel from Germany win the title with their show "Mr. and Mrs. Bond". Sean Smullen - Amine Leak from Ireland achive the runners-up position with their presentation "In Neverland". 3rd place is given to Stanislaw Wolyniec - Katarzyna Tuns from Poland.

And the winners are Gabriele Goffredo - Anna Matus from Moldova. Runners-up position was given to the European Champions, Latin, Andrea Silvestri - Martina Maradi from Hungary. Zolt Sandor Jeske - Malika Dzumaev from Germany achieved 3rd place.
The Hungarian DanceSport Association organized the 2022 WDSF Professional Division European Championship Latin on September 18th in Szombathely, Hungary. 16 couples from 10 countries started to find the 2022 Professional European Champion Latin. At the end Andrea Silvestri - Martina Maradi from Hungary won the title ahead of Zsolt Sandor Cseke - Malika Dzumaev from Germany, who achieved runners-up position. Third place was given to Donut Ionesco - Bianca Laura Ionesco from Romania.
The 2022 WDSF World Championship Ten Dance of the Professional Division was organized in Czech Republic in the city of Hradec Králové. 10 couples from 9 countries had come to compete. At the end David Odstrcil - Tara Bohak from Czech Republic win the title. Runners-up are Viktor Szabo - Vanja Vujic from Croatia. Andrii Kamyshnyi - Karina Shpakovskaya from Austria achieve 3rd place.
Another highlight at the 2022 German Open Championships was the WDSF PD Super Grand Prix Standard. 29 couples from 16 nations had come to compete. Vaidotas Lacitis - Veronika Golodneva from Lithuania win the Super Grand Prix Standard. Runners-up position is given to Edgars Linis - Eliza Line from Latvia. Matteo Cicchitti - Simona Brecikova from Slovakia achieve 3rd place.
It is a long time of 3 years since the last German Open Championships started in 2019. On August 9th 2022 the doors opened again. One of the highlights was the WDSF PD Super Grand Prix Latin competition. 19 couples had come to present professional latin dancing. Runners-up position was given to Vadim Garbuzov - Kathrin Menzinger from Austria. Dmitry Marchenko - Anastasia Rybalko from Azerbaijan achieved 3rd place.
The Dance Week Dubai set the stage for the 2021 WDSF PD World Championship Standard in Dubai on Saturday, 18th December. 27 couples from 15 countries had come to Dubai to find the new World Champions Standard of the WDSF Professional Division. Dmitry Zharkov - Olga Kulikova again won the title ahead of Nikolay Darin - Natalia Seredina from Moldova, who achieved runners-up position. Third place was given to Vaidotas Lacitis - Veronika Golodneva from Lithuania.
Second highlight in Leipzig on October 23rd at the "Messe Leipzig" area: 2021 WDSF Professional Division ShowDance Standard. 11 couples from 6 nations joined the championship. 11 very special shows were presented to the visitors and of course to the adjudicators. Valentin Lusin - Renata Lusin from Germany won the title ahead of Alexandru Ionel - Patricija Belousova from Germany. Bronze medal was given to Domenico Aliberti - Roberta Cardone from Italy.
