WDSF Professional Division World Championship Master Class II Standard was the second highlight of this year`s Luxembourg Open Championships being held on September 19th in Bertrange / Luxembourg. 15 couples joined the competition. Five couples from Italy and one couple from Germany qualified for the final rounds. At the end Heinz-Josef Bickers and Aurelia Bickers from Germany again won the title.

5. Böblinger Tanzgala at Kongresshalle Böblingen set the stage for this year`s WDSF Professional Division World Championship 10Dance. Verena Sulek, WDSF Professional Division Director, declared the world championship for open and thanked Wolfgang Lützner, mayer of Böblingen for taking the patronage of the first dancesport world championship in Böblingen. "Last call" for Martino Zanibellato - Michelle Abildtrup from Denmark at this year`s WDSF PD World Championship Latin in Horsens / Denmark on December 13th. 33 couples had come to compete for the title. Martino & Michelle, who had become world champions latin of WDSF PD last year in Ostrava, had decided to stand up for the title again this year. And they announced their retirement from competition dancing with this championship. Exactly two weeks after the World Championships ShowDance Standard and Latin in Chengdu the Professional Divison of WDSF had invited the professionals to find their World Champion ShowDance Latin on October 4th. Last but not least Campionati Italiani 2014 set the stage for the fifth world championship at this weekend in Rimini. 16 couples from WDSF Professional Division Master Class I Standard had come to cover their world championship. Sergey Belozerov - Ekaterina Belozerova from Russian Federation won the title.
WDSF PD World Championship Master Class I Latin had taken place in Rimini on July 12th. Eleven couples from Italy participated and found the new world champions master class I in latin: Andrea Leandri - Maria Christina Trevisol won the title with 7 points curtly ahead of Salvatore Falcone - Sonia Alessi, who achieved runner-up position with 8 points.
