The first major event on 2023 German Open Championships was the WDSF Professional Division Super Grand Prix Latin on August 8th in Stuttgart, Germany. 30 couples from 19 countries had come to participate the PD Super Grand Prix Latin. And the winners are Andrea Silvestri - Martina Varadi from Hungary. Runners-up position was given to Marts Smolko - Tina Bazykina from Latvia. The highlight of the 2023 Dance Sport Festival Bremen was the WDSF World Championship Junior II 10Dance during the DSF Gala Night. 30 Junior II couples from 30 nations competed for the title. Yigit Bayraktar - Lukretcija Kuraite from the organizing club, Grün-Gold-Club Bremen, Germany won the title ahead of Marius-Tiberiu Padurean - Adelina Stanciu from Romania, who achieved runners-up position. 3rd place was given to Jegors Provinz - Polina Karimova from Latvia.

Another highlight of the 2023 Dance Sport Festival in Bremen was the WDSF Word Championship SEN I Standard. 66 couples from 17 countries had come to the DSF to find the SEN I World Champion 2023. After 5 rounds of excellent dancing the World Champions SEN I Standard were found: Congratulations to Manuel Guidotti - Silvia Mariotti from Italy. Runners-up position was given to Fabian Wendt - Anne Steinmann from Germany. Alexander Voges - Lura Voges from Germany achieved 3rd place.

The Dance Sport Festival in Bremen set the stage for 3 WDSF World Championships, organized by Grün-Gold-Club Bremen. On Friday, June 2nd, it was the competition for the Senior II couples. 128 couples from 25 countries had come to Bremen to join the World Championship SEN II Standard. And the winners are Ruben Viviana Lopez - Eva Mona from Spain. Runners-up position was given to Tomas Rimkus - Nerija Surblyte from Lithuania. Gatis Simsons -Julija Simsone from Latvia achieved 3rd place.

The 57th "Amber Couple" in Kaunas / Lithuania set the stage for the 2023 WDSF Professional Division World Championships Standard on May 7th. 20 couples from 13 countries had come to Kaunas to compete for the title. Vaidotas Lacitis - Veronika Golodneva from Lithuania won the title ahead of Edgars Linis - Eliza Line from Latvia, who achieved runners-up position. David Odstrcil - Tara Bohak from Czech Republic achieved 3rd place. At the end of the prize presentation Vaidotas & Veronika retired from competition dancing and their honorary dance was their last waltz ...
