13-04 WDSF European Championship Standard Aarhus / Denmark


Emanuel Valeri – Tania Kehlet from Denmark won the title (5 points). Congratulations to the new European Champions Standard! Again NGRI Arena in Aarhus set the stage for a major competition on April 20th. About 2,000 spectators followed the competition during the evening session. 61 couples from 34 European countries had come to Aarhus to find the champion in standard section. Emanuel & Tania later during an interview with WDSF Presidium member Heidi Götz said that it was very special for them to win the title in their homeland.

Simone Segatori –  Annette Sudol from Germany achieved runners up position. The couple also inspired the audience with outstanding ballroom dancing. The nine adjudicators rewarded their excellent performance with 2nd place (11 points).

Sergei Konovaltsev – Olga Konovaltseva from Russian Federation elated the audience again with their expressive and powerful dancing, especially in the quickstep, where Sergei and Olga achieved 2nd place. Totally the couple attained 3rd place (14 points).

Nicolay Darin – Natalia Seredina from Moldova achieved 4th place with 22,5 points ahead of Marco Cavallaro – Letizia Ingrosso from Italy, who we set on 5th place (23,5 points). Danill Ulanov – Irina Gogoladze from Russian Federation attained 6th place with 29 points. Congratulations to all finalists for their excellent performance. It was a great pleasure to see them competing during this European Championship Standard.
