13-03 WDSF Grand Slam Latin – Cambrils / Spain


The 2013 WDSF Grand Slam Latin Series started in Cambrils / Spain on March 31st. 76 couples had come to Cambrils at this Easter Sunday, only one week before the European Championship Latin in Krasnodar / Russia. Only a few of the top couples were missing.

This Grand Slam Latin competition was the first one being held under the new judging system 2.0. The atmosphere was very good, the performance of the couples was excellent.

The World Champions Latin, Aniello Langello – Khrystyna Moshenska from Italy won the competition with 196,76 points, followed by Andrey Kiselev – Anastasia Balaeva from Russian Federation ( 184,27 points).

 

Gabriele Goffredo - Anna Matus / Moldova

 

Gabriele Goffredo – Anna Matus from Moldova attained 3rd place (182,39 points) ahead of Andrey Gusev –Elizaveta Cherevichnaya from Russian Federation, who were set on 4th place (174,88 points).

Two more couples from the Russian Federation achieved the final rounds. Stanislav Nikolaev – Elena Ziuziukina attained 5th place (172,01 points) and Yury Simachev – Anastasia Klokotova were set on 6th place (170,77 points).
