49 couples from 27 countries had come to Dresden to join this year`s World Championship Senior I Standard. The two favourite couples for the title had an exciting combat during the final. The decision was made in the last dance, the quickstep. Titleholder Tassilo and Sabine Lax achieved 1,2,1,2,1,1,4,2,5 while Stefano Bernardini and Stefania Martellini attained 2,1,2,1,4,2,1,1,3. That`s life. There is only one winner. Congratulations to both couples for an excellent performance during this competition.
After the prize presentation, Tassilo and Sabine disclosed to change to WDSF Professional Division immediately. They plan to join the WDSF PD World Championship Senior 1 on November 10th in Italy.
