Looking at the results of the major competitions in standard section everyone knew the result could be curtly. So there was a great tension the last weeks, days and hours before the championship. One of the candidates for the title were of course Simone Segatori & Annette Sudol from Germany. Another couple with good chances to win were Dmitry Zharkow & Olga Kulikova from Russian Federation. No one could predict in advance how the twelve adjudicators from different countries would decide. There was no judge from Germany and Russia in the panel.And the winners are … Simone Segatori & Annette Sudol from Germany. Simone & Annette won all dances except the tango and they achieved 191.69 points. Congratulations for this exceptionell performance!
