Hip Hop
This was the day of the Hip Hop dancers, couples and groups. We saw very individual dancing. So it was not easy for the adjudicators to identify the very best. At the end Dinipiri Etebu from Germany won the gold medal in solo male.
In the section of solo female Jennifer Romen from Netherlands achieved gold.
The double section was won by Artem Glotov – Evgenia Maksimova from Russian Federation.
The best Hip Hop small group was the team of Slovenia.

The Cheerleading
Three Cheerleading teams were qualified for the final. The team from Thailand went for gold ahead of the Japanese team (silver) and the team from Chinese Taipei (bronze).

Object of “The Final Countdown” was the Latin Competition
The world champions latin, Aniello Langella – Khrystyna Moshenska from Itlaly, achieved 1st place (gold) with 197.89 points. Congratulations!
Marius-Andrei Balan – Nina Bezzubova from Germany attained runners-up position and won the silver medal with 186.51 points.
The bronze medal was won by Timur Imametdinov – Ekaterina Nikolaeva from Russian Federation.

The Workshops
During all five days there were many workshops for the spectators and volunteers. Dirk Heidemann from Germany was one of the trainers.

The Closing Ceremony
Carlos Freitag, President of WDSF, thanked Mrs. Chen Chu, the Mayor of Kaohsiung, and her team, the volunteers and all people who had helped to make the first WDSF World DanceSport Games to such a success.
Mrs. Chen Chu submitted the gold, silver and bronze medals to Carlos Freitag as a present.

After finishing the wonderful show with many groups from Kaohsiung and of course the medalists the final “Do your dance in Kaohsiung” was started to the music of “Stamp your feet”. It was a great atmosphere and great World DanceSport Games!
