The last highlight of the 2022 German Open Championships in Stuttgart was the WDSF Grand Slam Latin. 175 couples from all over the world had started on Friday with this huge competition. Friday night was the time for the final rounds of the WDSF Grand Slam Standard at the 2022 German Open Championships event in Stuttgart. After 3 years of waiting since 2019 the Liederhalle was completely filled with the audience. 175 couples had started in round 1 on Thursday. At the end Evaldas Sodeika - Ieva Zukauskaite from Lithuania win the Grand Slam Standard in Stuttgart. Francesco Galuppo - Debora Pacini from Italy get runners-up position ahead of Tomas Fainsil - Violetta Fainsil from Germany, who achieve 3rd place. Read more [...]

Last but not least the WDSF Grand Slam Latin came to the floor on Saturday, August 16th, in Stuttgart. 224 couples had started the competition on Friday. In the final on Saturday we saw Marius-Andrei Balan - Khrystyna Moshenska from Germany winning the competition. Runners-up position was given to Timur Imametdinov - Nina Bezzubova from Germany. WDSF Grand Slam Latin startet on Friday, August 10th, at German Open Championships in Stuttgart with 261 couples. It took the couples 7 rounds to qualify for the final rounds. At least Marius-Andrei Balan - Khrystyna Moshenska from Germany won the Grand Slam Latin ahead of Timur Imametdinov - Nina Bezzubova from Germany, who achieved runners-up position. Third place was given to Andrey Gusev - Vera Bondareva from Russian Federation. Special Event was the drop out of the computers of the adjudicators in der quarter-final. 32nd German Open Championships 2018 from August 7th - 11th in Stuttgart set the stage for the WDSF Grand Slam Standard. 257 couples had come to compete. It took 7 rounds to find the six finalists. At the end Dmitry Zharkov - Olga Kulikova from Russian Federations won the Grand Slam Standard ahead of Evaldas Sodeika - Ieva Zukauskaite from Lithuania, who achieved runners-up position. 3rd place was given to Evgeny Moshenin - Dana Spitsyna from Russian Federation. Finnish DanceSport Championships set the stage for the first leg on WDSF Grand Slam series in 2018 on March 3rd and 4th in Helsinki. 80 couples joined the competition.
