Besides the special highlights of the 2024 German Open Championships there were a lot of other very high level competitions. Here are the finals of WDSF Open Youth Standard and Youth Latin, WDSF Open Under 21 Standard and WDSF Open Rising Stars Standard and Latin.
24-08 WDSF Grand Slam Latin | GOC Stuttgart
The last highlight of the 2024 German Open Championships in Stuttgart ended on Saturday, August 17th, with the final of the WDSF Grand Slam Latin competition. 220 couples from all over the world had come to compete. After 6 rounds the couples for the final had been qualified. The 1. place with the gold medal was won by Charles-Guillaume Schmitt - Elena Salikhova from France. 2nd place and the silver medal was given to Guillem Pascual - Diandra-Aniela Illes from Spain. Yan Bangbang - Du Yujun from People's Republic of China achieved 3rd place and the bronze medal.

German Open Championships 2024 also presented a WDSF Grand Slam Standard competition. 214 couples from all over the world had come to Stuttgart to join this special event. After 6 rounds of wonderful dancing the six couples for the final round had been qualified. And the winners are ... Alexey Glukhov - Anastasia Glazunova from Moldova. Runners-up position was given to Rares Cojoc - Andreea Matei from Romania. Tomas Fainsil - Violetta Fainsil from Germany achieved third place and won the bronze medal.
2024 WDSF PD Super Grand Prix Standard | GOC Stuttgart
Another sucess for a couple from Lativia was won at the WDSF Professional Division Super Grand Prix Standard, also held at the German Open Championships in Stuttgart. 37 competitors from 19 countries danced for the title.
At the end Edgars Linis - Eliza Line from Latvia won the 2024 PD Super Grand Prix Standard competition ahead of David Odstrcil - Tara Bohak from Czech Republic, who achieved runners-up position. 3rd place was given to Edgaras Baltaragis - Indre Baltarage from Lithuania.
2024 WDSF PD Super Grand Prix Latin | GOC Stuttgart
The 2024 German Open Championships in Stutttgart set the stage for the WDSF Professional Division Super Grand Prix Latin. 27 couples from 16 nations had come to Stuttgart to take part. At the end these six couples competed in the final for the title.
And the winners are ... Marts Smolko - Tina Bazykina from Latvia. Runners-up position was given to Maruster Sergiu - Anastasia Stan from Moldova. Li Mingxuan - Zhou Wanting from People´s Repubic of China achieved 3rd place.
24-07 WDSF World Championship Senior IV Standard | Vienna, Austria
The Vienna Dance Concourse on July 26th set the stage for the 2024 WDSF World Championship SEN IV Standard. 208 couples competed for the title. After 12 hours and 7 rounds the new WDSF World Champions Senior IV Standard was nominated: Congratulations to Michael Pauser - Claudia Molecz from Austria ! Runners-up position was given to Takeki Matsumura - Eiko Matsumura from Japan. Valter Miccoli - Marinella Giammarino from Italy achieved third place. 4th place was given to Renato Sibillo - Anna Martini from Italy ahead of Bruno Lazzareschi -Ida Zotta from Italy, who were set on 5th place. Michael Gross - Regina Groß from Germany achieved 6th place ahead of the 7th couples in the final, Jouko Leppala - Helja Leppala from Finland. Congratulations to all finalists ...
24-06 WDSF PD World Championship 10Dance | Kosice, Slovakia
The 2024 WDSF Professional Division World Championship 10 Dance was organized on June 8th in Kosice / Slovakia. 13 couples from 12 nations had come to compete for the title. And the winners are Matej Stec - Elena Popova from Slovakia. Earle Williamson - Veronika Myshko from Ukraine achieved runners-up position. Third place was given to Mark Ziv - Marika Odikadze from Israel.
24-04 WDSF European Championship Standard | Chisinau, MDA
"Codreanca" in Chișinău / Moldova was the place of the 2024 WDSF European Championship Standard on April 13th. 56 couples from 29 nations had come to compete for the title. And the winners are ... Alexey Glukhov - Anastasia Glazunova from Moldova. Rares Cojoc - Andreea Matei from Romania achieved runners-up position. 3rd place and the bronze medal was won by Tomas Fainsil - Violetta Fainsil from Germany.
24-03 WDSF PD World Championship Latin | Budapest, HUN
The Hungarian DanceSport Association set the stage for the 2024 WDSF Professional Division World Championship Latin in Budapest on March 23rd. 39 couples from 20 nations had come to the Ludovika Arena in Budapest to compete for the title. We saw an exciting World Championship Latin. And the winners are Andrea Silvestri & Martina Varadi from Hungary. After the prize presentation Andrea & Martina declared their retirement from competition dancing. Runners-up position was given to Marts Smolko & Tina Bazykina from Latvia. Sergiu Maruster & Anastasia Stan from Moldova achieved 3rd place.
23-11 DTV German Championships Formation Standard | Braunschweig, Germany
The 2023 DTV German Championships Formation Standard was held at the same event from Braunschweiger TSC. In standard section also 8 teams started to compete for the title. And the winners are Braunschweiger TSC A-Team with their show "Dancing on the Ceiling". 1. TC Ludwigsburg A-Team achieved runners-up position with "Barcelona 2.0" ahead of Tanzsportteam im ASC Göttingen v. 1846 with their show "A Sky full of Stars".
