The 13th Slovak Open Championships 2024 presented another highlight on November 30th: WDSF PD World Championship ShowDance Standard was also on program. 7 couples from 5 nations presented their shows. Matej Stec - Elena Popova from Slovakia win the title with their show "Once and for all" ahead of Nikita Anikeev - Elina Kokotova, who achieve runners-up position with "Nutcracker". Third place was given to Via Domorad - Simona Tejcova from Czech Republic for their presentation of "Colors of Loneliness".

Runners-up position was given to David Jutge - Tatiana Podgornaia from France for their show "Domestic Violence". Nicola Leprai - Martina Restuccia from Italy achieved 3rd place with their show " YIN YANG".

There were two highlights at the 2024 Saxonian Dance Classics in Dresden on November 9th. In the morning the first rounds of WDSF World Championship Senior I Latin started a very exciting event. In the evening, six couples had been qualified for the final. And the winners are Markus Heffner - Marina Schwerin-Mehlmann from Germany. Runners-up position was given to Luigi Donadeo - Elisa de Belardini from Italy. Mate Kovacs - Andrea Zoila from Hungary achieved 3rd place.

Saxonian Dance Classics in Dresden / Germany set the stage for the 2024 WDSF Professional Division World Championship Standard on November 9th. 23 couples from 13 nations competed for the title. Congratulations to the winners, Evaldas Sodeika - Ieva Sodeikiene from Lithuania. Edgars Linis - Eliza Line from Latvia achieved runners-up position. 3rd place was given to Edgaras Baltaragis - Indre Baltarage from Lithuania. At the end of the prize presentation, Evaldas Sodeika and Ieva Sodeikiene announced their retirement.

The second highlight of the 2024 International DanceSportFestival Leipzig was the WDSF World Championship Standard. 70 couples from 35 nations had come to Leipzig to join the World Championship Standard. Alexey Glukhov - Anastasia Glazunova from Moldova won the title ahead of Rares Cajon - Andrea Matei from Romania. With a difference of only 0,04 points to 2nd place, 3rd place was given to Tomas Fainsil - Violetta Fainsil from Germany.

The 2024 International DanceSportFestival Leipzig set the stage for the WDSF Professional Division European Championship Latin. Couples from 11 countries had come to Leipzig to compete for the title. An the winners are Marts Smolko - Tina Bazykina from Latvia. Runners-up position was given to Sergio Maruster - Anastasia Maruster from Moldova. Nikita Bazar - Hanna Run Bazar from Iceland achieved 3rd place.

The last highlight of the 2024 German Open Championships in Stuttgart ended on Saturday, August 17th, with the final of the WDSF Grand Slam Latin competition. 220 couples from all over the world had come to compete. After 6 rounds the couples for the final had been qualified. The 1. place with the gold medal was won by Charles-Guillaume Schmitt - Elena Salikhova from France. 2nd place and the silver medal was given to Guillem Pascual - Diandra-Aniela Illes from Spain. Yan Bangbang - Du Yujun from People's Republic of China achieved 3rd place and the bronze medal.

German Open Championships 2024 also presented a WDSF Grand Slam Standard competition. 214 couples from all over the world had come to Stuttgart to join this special event. After 6 rounds of wonderful dancing the six couples for the final round had been qualified. And the winners are ... Alexey Glukhov - Anastasia Glazunova from Moldova. 2024 WDSF PD Super Grand Prix Standard | GOC Stuttgart

Another sucess for a couple from Lativia was won at the WDSF Professional Division Super Grand Prix Standard, also held at the German Open Championships in Stuttgart. 37 competitors from 19 countries danced for the title.

At the end Edgars Linis - Eliza Line from Latvia won the 2024 PD Super Grand Prix Standard competition ahead of David Odstrcil - Tara Bohak from Czech Republic, who achieved runners-up position. 3rd place was given to Edgaras Baltaragis - Indre Baltarage from Lithuania.
