17-06 WDSF PD World Cup Latin – Baden-Baden / Germany

Only six weeks after PD European Cup Latin and two weeks after PD European Championships Latin, another major event for PD Latin couples is on stage: PD World Cup Latin in Baden-Baden / Germany. 19 couples from 13 nations participated the competition. The two top couples of PD European Cup Latin changed position. Runners-up in Debrecen at the European Cup, Marts Smolko - Tina Bazykina from Latvia, won the World Cup Latin in Baden-Baden. And vice-versa, the winner of the European Cup Latin in Debrecen, Daniele Sargenti - Uliana Fomenko from Italy, achieved runners-up position in Baden-Baden. Third place was given to Wang Jun - Jia Yiwen from People´s Republic of China.

17-05 WDSF Professional Division European Cup Latin – Debrecen / Hungary

The WDSF Professional Division European Cup Latin 2017 was held on May 14th in Debrecen / Hungary. The organizer Walzer Dance Studio had invited the European Latin Professional couples to the Kölcsey Centre in Debrecen. At least 19 couples from 10 nations had come to Debrecen. Daniele Sargent - Liana Fomenko from Italy won the European Cup Latin this year ahead of Marts Smolko - Tina Bazykina from Latvia. Third place was given to Alexandr Makarov - Angela Kuryshova from Russian Federation.

Bad Prymont / Germany

The outdoor courtyard of Bad Pyrmont Castle in Germany set the stage for the WDSF Professional Division World Cup Latin on July 11th 2015. Twenty-one couples of WDSF Professional Division from 11 countries had come to Bad Payment this Saturday night to compete for the World Cup Latin. The organizer, the couples and the auditors were happy to have the best weather for this outdoor competition around 20 degrees celsius and more during the evening.

15-07 WDSF PD European Cup Standard – Wuppertal / Germany

12th danceComp Wuppertal set the stage for WDSF Professional Division European Cup Standard this year on July 3rd in Historical Cityhall of Wuppertal. 23 couples from 13 countries had come to compete for the European Cup Standard. It was not only a very hot day, it also was a very hot competition. At the end Benedetto Ferruggia & Claudia Köhler won the title with all 45 votes for 1st place. Congratulations!

11th danceComp in Wuppertal / Germany this year started July 4th - 6th. A highlight on the first day was the WDSF Professional Division European Cup Latin. 15 couples from 8 countries had come to join the European Cup Latin. Andrey Zaitsev - Elizaveta Cherevichnaya from Russian Federation won all five dances and became winner of this year`s European Cup Latin.

Benedetto Ferruggia – Claudia Köhler from Germany win the European Cup Standard of the WDSF Professional Division. Congratulations! Joachim Llambi, Master of Ceremony, welcomed 24 WDSF Professional Division couples from 12 European countries joining the WDSF European Cup Standard, which was the highlight of the opening day of this year`s DanceComp in Wuppertal / Germany.

Benedetto Ferruggia - Clau

Benedetto and Claudia showed outstanding ballroom dancing and convinced the nine adjudicators. They won the European Cup with 45 first places!

Runner-up are Donatas Vezelis – Lina Chatkeviciute from Lithuania. We are very sorry not to have a nice picture of the couple. But look at the video of the final rounds to watch their performance.

3rd place was given to Isaia Berardi – Cinzia Birarelli from Italy ahead of Pavel Eydinov – Tatiana Livatova from Russian Federation, who achieved 4th place.

First Open Air Competition in Germany!

The courtyard of the castle of Bad Pyrmont set the stage for the first open air competition being held in Germany on June 29th 2013. Motive for this event was the WDSF Professional Division European Cup Latin. 18 professional latin couples from 13 countries joined the European Cup Latin, which was moderated by Joachim Llambi from Germany and Stuart Saunders from Scotland. Seven female adjudicators from seven European countries were assigned to find this year`s winner of European Cup Latin under the chairmanship of Andreas Neuhaus from Germany.
