Day 5: Hip Hop / Cheerleading / Latin / Closing Ceremony

Day 5 of the World DanceSport Games gave the Hip Hop dancers, the Cheerleading teams and the Latin couples the chance to compete in the games. The Hip Hop competitions were held in four sections: solo male, solo female, double and small groups. So we had medalists in every section. The medalists of the Cheerleading competition highly impressed the spectators. Really exciting shows! The final summit of course was the Latin competition. The world champions latin, Aniello Langella - Khrystyna Moshenska from Italy, had come to go for gold and they won! More details inside ...

Day 4: Boogie Woogie – Wheelchair Latin – Standard

The forth day brought Boogie Woogie, Wheelchair Latin and Standard on stage. Thorbjorn Solvoll - Susanne Barhald Sanderbg from Norway went for gold in Booogie Woogie. Gold was also the result for Sergey Antonov - Olga Beliaeva from Russian Federation in Wheelchair Latin section. Finally 25 couples danced for gold in Standard, but only one couple can be the lucky winner. Paolo Bosco - Joanne Clifton took the gold home to Italy. More details inside ...

Day 3: Line Dance – Salsa – RockĀ“n Roll

Third day was the time for Line Dance, Salsa and Rock`n Roll. In the Line DanceFemale,Siobhan Yasmin Dunn from England won the gold medal. Line Dance Male was won by Shane McKeever from Irland. Jacek Eryk Tarczylo - Anna Miadzielec from Poland were lucky to win gold in Rock`n Roll. Jakub Mazuch - Michaela Gatekova from Czech Republic achieved to win the Salsa competition. Day 1: Opening Ceremony – ShowDance LAT – Formation STD

Kaohsiung Arena / Chinese Taipei set the stage for the first WDSF World DanceSport Games September 16th - 20th 2013. More than 770 athletes from 49 countries had come to Kaohsiung to join the competitions tendered in 13 disciplines. During the five days of competitions the Kaohsiung Arena was filled up to 12.000 spectators during the highlights of the World DanceSport Games.
