After 4 years of waiting for the new start of "THE CAMP" 186 couples from 35 countries were glad to meet 34 top dancesport trainers again. This time the Maritim Hotel in Magdeburg / Germany was the place for the event. And there is a new combination ... THE CAMP meets DSF (Dance Sport Festival) in Bremen.
The Historical Town Hall of Wuppertal set the stage for the 2019 edition of THE CAMP. This year more than 250 couples from 50 countries joined the event. Doors opened on May 4th - 6th 2016 for THE CAMP 2016 at Historical City Hall of Wuppertal / Germany. 240 couples from 39 countries followed the invitation of Asis Khadjeh-Nouri and Henner Thurau to the 9th edition of THE CAMP to join the lectures, group and private lessons presented by a huge group of excellent dance sport trainers in standard and latin disciplines.
THE CAMP 2015 opened doors from May 6th - 8th at the Historical City Hall in Wuppertal / Germany for the 8th event. Same as last year, more than 200 couples from more than 30 countries had come to meet with the their trainers to develop their dancing by visiting lectures, group and private lessons. For the first time, threes group lessons specially for senior couples done by Asis Khadjeh-Nouri, Mirko Gozzoli and Fabio Selmi were held. The participating couples unanimously rated THE CAMP as excellent again.
Again THE CAMP, The Official International DTV Training Camp, being held in Wuppertal from April 22nd - 24th this year, was a great success for more than 200 couples from 31 countries, 37 trainers and the organizer, Asis Khadjeh-Nouri and Henner Thurau. 14 lectures in standard and in latin were offered to the couples. 28 group lessons in both disciplines gave the chance to practice. And of course the couples had the chance to book private lessons with the top trainers. At the end all participants were lucky to have met once again in Wuppertal at the Historical City Hall.

More than 200 couples from 30 countries had come to Wuppertal to listen lectures and lessons in ballroom and latin american section by 34 dance sport trainers from May 8th – 10th. The attractiveness of this event is based on the high quality of trainers and couples and on the facility for both groups to communicate during the group and private lessons, Asis Khadjeh-Nouri expresses during an interview.
The historical town hall of Wuppertal / Germany for the fifth time set the stage for “THE CAMP 2012”, which was held from April 24th – 26th. More than thirty top trainers from all over the world had come to “THE CAMP” to meet top couples and rising stars in ballroom and latin section. Lectures, group lessons and private lessons were held simultaneously on seven dancing floors.

Dancing is developing every year. In the past few years we saw an increase of sportive and athletic dancing in ballroom section as well as in latin section. Actually we hear many experts coming back to the fundamentals and characteristics of the dances. We took the chance to ask the top experts for their opinion.
