The opening ceremony …

… with the oath of the couples and the adjudicators

After 4 rounds six couples had been qualified for the final. Every one in the hall was expecting an exciting final due to a neck-and-neck race between Simone Segatori – Annette Sudol from Germany, who had to plead their title from last year, and Dmitry Zharkov – Olga Kuliva from Russian Federation, who were in runners-up position last year.

The judges from the first dance in the final set Dmitry & Olga on first place in all five dances. The difference in points between Dmitry & Olga and the runners up Simone & Annette was notable in each dance. Simone & Annette demonstrated against the voting of the judges in the last solo dance, the quickstep. They only showed basis steps during the whole quickstep.
