The fourth WDSF Grand Slam competitions of the year took place in Wuhan / China on September 13th and 14th. Eighty-four latin couples from all over the world had come to Wuhan Sports Center this weekend to joins the Grand Slam Latin. At the end Aniello Langella - Khrystyna Moshenska from Italy won the Grand Slam Latin.

After 5 days filled with excellent dancing at the German Open Championship, Saturday night presents the last highlight of the week: the Grand Slam Standard. 228 couples had started on Friday morning at 9.30 a.m. On Saturday 3 minutes before midnight, the last quickstep of the final ended. It was Simone Segatori - Annette Sudol from Germany who could do their dance of honor into Sunday morning.

4th day at the German Open Championships traditionally is the day of the final of Grand Slam Latin. The competition started on Thursday at 8.30 a.m. and the final ended a few minutes before midnight on Friday. 287 couples had started on Thursday morning. After 7 rounds the 12 adjudicators had identified the 6 finalists.
14-02 WDSF Grand Slam Latin
Tallinn / Estonia
The first reel of the WDSF Grand Slam Latin 2014 series started with 59 couples in Tallinn / Estonia on February 23rd. The top four couples from last World Championship in December in Berlin had come to Tallinn. Aniello Langella - Khrystyna Moshenska from Italy unchallenged won the competition with 198,43 points out of a maximum of 200,00 points. No doubt, this was outstanding. The WDSF Grand Slam 2014 series of major competitions started in Tallinn / Estonia this year on 22nd and 23rd of February. 47 couples were on the starting list at the end. The WDSF Grand Slam Standard and Latin took place during 3rd Beijing International DanceSport Open in China on September 7th and 8th. In standard section 67 couples competed for the win at Ditan gymnasium in Beijing. At the end Emanuel Valeri & Tania Kehlet from Denmark achieved first place ahead of Simone Segatori & Annette Sudol from Germany, who attained runner-up position. Third place was given to Dmitry Zharkov & Olga Kulikova from Russian Federation.

Armen Tsaturyan - Svetlana Gudyno from Russian Federation achieved 1st place ahead of Charles-Guillaume Schmitt - Elena Salkhova from France. 3rd place was given to Timur Imametdinov - Ekaterina Nikolaeva from Russian Federation.
