July 5th was a long day at 11th danceComp in Wuppertal. The competitions began at 8.30 a.m. with WDSF Open Senior II STD. The highlight of the day - WDSF PD Word Championship Masterclass II Standard - startet with the opening ceremony followed by the first rounds late in the evening at 10.20 p.m. Prize presentation ended at 1.56 a.m. on July 6th. A very long day for all adjudicators and officials and of course for a very late beginning for the 17 couples ... Heinz-Josel & Aurelia Bickert from Germany at the end took the cup of the winner home.

Martino Zanibellato - Michelle Abildtrup from Denmark won the title ahead of Vladimir Karpov - Mariya Tzaptashvilli from Russian Federation, who achieved runners up position. Verena Sulek, WDSF PD Director, welcomed 37 latin couples from 21 countries in Europe, Asia and Australia in Ostrava / Czech Republic to compete for the title of world champion latin of the WDSF Professional Division 2013. Eva Bartunkova, President of Czech Dance Sport Federation, was glad to host the top professional latin couples this year in Ostrava.

Mirko Gozzoli - Edita Danuite from Lithuania won the title in a most exciting competition. 43 couples from 19 countries had come to Bassano Del Grappa to find the new World Champions of the WDSF Professional Devision. Runners up are Paolo Bosco - Joanne Kirsty Clifton from Italy. 3rd place was given to Federico Di Toro - Anastasia Tarlykova from Russian Federation.

WDSF Professional Devision World Championship Latin 2012 took place at "Glashalle Leipzig" belonging to Congress Center Leipzig / Germany. 29 couples from all over the world had come to Leipzig to find the PD World Champion Latin 2012. Only a fortnight ago the European PD Championship Latin had been held in Velenje / Slovenia.
