18-11 WDSF World Championship Formation Standard | Pécs, Hungary

For the second time WDSF World Championship Formation Standard was organized by the Hungarian DanceSport Association in Pécs. 15 formation teams from 9 nations had come to Hungary. In the final rounds we saw 2 teams from Hungary, 2 teams from Russia and 2 teams from Germany. The European Champions of 2018 in Sochi, Vera Tyumen Standard Team from Russian Federation, also won the the World Championship in Pécs. 2nd place was given to Triumph Ufa from Russian Federation. Braunschweiger TSC from Germany achieved 3rd place ahead of 1. TC Ludwigsburg from Germany, who were set on 4th place. 5th place was given to Szilver TSC from Hungary and 6th place was won by Adria-Szigo KTSE from Hungary.

The 25th Austrian Open Championships set the stage for 2018 WDSF World Championship Standard at Multiversum in Vienna - Schwechat. 81 couples from all over the world had come to this most important competition of the year. Dmitry Zharkov - Olga Kulikova from Russian Federation again won the title - for the fourth time this year! Runners-up position was given to Evaldas Sodeika - Ieva Zukauskaite from Lithuania. Francesco Galuppo - Debora Pacini from Italy achieved 3rd place.

Polish Cup 2018 - International Dance Festival in Warsaw / Poland set the stage for the 2018 WDSF World Championship 10 Dance. 38 couples from 38 nations had come to Warsaw to compete for the title. Konstantin Gorodilov - Dominika Bergmannova from Estonia won the title ahead of Daniil Ulanov - Kateryna Isakovych from Cyprus, who achieved runners-up position. 3rd place was given to Winson Tam - Anastasia Novikova from Canada.

18-07 WDSF World Championship Senior IV Standard – Nagano / Japan

2018 July 14th was the date for the WDSF World DanceSport Championship Senior IV Standard, held in Nagano / Japan. 114 couples from 13 nations had come to the venue "White Ring" in Nagano. After six rounds the new World Champions Senior IV were found: Renato Sibillo - Anna Cartini from Italy. Runners-up position was given to Luciano Ceruti - Rosa Nuccia Capello from Italy. Vittorio Guida - Fortuna Canta from Italy achieved 3rd place.

17-12 WDSF World Championship Formation Latin, Vienna / Austria

Multiversum Schwechat near Vienna / Austria also set the stage for 2017 World Championship Formation Latin. 18 teams from 10 nations had come to compete for the title. There was a change at the top this year. Duett Perm from Russian Federation won the title for the first time. Grün-Gold-Club Bremen from Germany achieved runners-up position. Vera Tyumen this year was set on 3rd place.

The 2017 WDSF World Championship Formation Standard was held in Brunswick / Germany on November 25th. Eighteen formations standard teams from 11 nations had come to compete for the title. Around 5.000 spectators followed the competition at Volkswagen Hall. At the end the Vera Tyumen Standard Team from Russian Federation won the title ahead of Braunschweiger TSC, who achieved runners-up position. Third place was given to 1. TC Ludwigsburg.

The absolute highlight of 2017 Austrian Open Championships and one of the top events of the year was the WDSF World Championship Latin in Vienna / Austria on November 18th at Multiversum Schwechat hall. 87 couples from 51 nations had come to Vienna to compete for the title. At the end Gabriele Goffredo - Anna Matus from Moldova again won the title ahead of Armen Tsaturyan - Svetlana Gudyno from Russian Federation, who achieved runners-up position. Third place was given to Marius-Andrei Balan - Khrystyna Moshenska from Germany.

Second day of "Sports de Danses Championnats du Monde" organized by Fédération Française de Danses in Marseille was the time for the WDSF World Championship 10Dance. 36 couples from all over the world had come to participate this World Championship 10Dance. It was an exciting competition with head to head scoring of the top couples. At least Dumitru Doga - Sarah Ertmer from Germany won the title ahead of Winson Tam - Anastasia Novikova from Canada, who achieved runners-up position. Evgeny Sveridonov - Angelina Barkova from Russian Federation came up to 3rd. place.

Chengdu World DanceSport Festival also sets the stage for WDSF World Championship ShowDance Latin again this year. 8 couples have been nominated. Winners are Anton Aldaev - Natalia Polukhina from Russian Federation ahead of Artur Banandin - Anna Salat from Germany, who achieve runners-up position. third place is given to Feder Poliansky - Dina Akhmetgareeva from Russian Federation.
