17-06 WDSF PD European Championship Latin – St. Petersburg / Russian Federation

It is "White Nights" time in St. Petersburg. Dance Promotion Group from Moscow organized the 2017 WDSF Professional Division European Championship Latin on June 11th in St. Petersburg. 18 couples from 10 nations had come to compete for the title. Vitaly Panteleev - Angelina Nechkhaeva from Russian Federation won all five dances in the final. Marts Smolko - Tina Bazykina from Latvia achieved runners-up position ahead of Ovale Pasechnik - Marta Arndt from Germany, who achieved 3rd place.

17-05 WDSF Professional Division European Championship Standard – Debrecen / Hungary

Kölcsey Centre in Debrecen / Hungary also set the stage for the 2017 WDSF Professional Division European Championship Standard. 23 couples from 10 nations had come this special event. Benedetto Ferruggia - Claudia Köhler won all five dances in the final. Runners-up position was given to Donatas Vezelis - Lina Chatkeviciute from Lithuania. Csaba László - Viktoria Páli from Hungary won the bronze medal.

17-05 WDSF Professional Division European Cup Latin – Debrecen / Hungary

The WDSF Professional Division European Cup Latin 2017 was held on May 14th in Debrecen / Hungary. The organizer Walzer Dance Studio had invited the European Latin Professional couples to the Kölcsey Centre in Debrecen. At least 19 couples from 10 nations had come to Debrecen. Daniele Sargent - Liana Fomenko from Italy won the European Cup Latin this year ahead of Marts Smolko - Tina Bazykina from Latvia. Third place was given to Alexandr Makarov - Angela Kuryshova from Russian Federation.

17-04 WDSF PD World Championship ShowDance Latin – Vienna / Austria

24th Vienna Dance Concourse on April 9th 2017 set the stage for the WDSF Professional Division World Championship ShowDance Latin. Eight couples from five countries had come to the beautiful ballroom of the townhall of Vienna to find the new World Champion in ShowDance Latin section of the Professional Division. Of course, the winner of last year, Vadim Garbuzov - Kathrin Menninger from Austria, again joined the competition.

16-11 WDSF PD World Championship ShowDance Latin – Vienna / Austria

Third day of Austrian Open Championships was impressed by the WDSF PD World Championship ShowDance Latin. 13 couples had prepared a show dance latin for this competition. So it was a great presentation given to the audience. At the end the favorite couple Vadim Garbuzov - Kathrin Menzinger from Austria won the title with their new show "I Am A Refugee". Runners-up position was given to Michele Cantanna - Maria Richter from Germany.

16-11 WDSF PD World Super Grand Prix Standard – Vienna / Austria

Austrian Open Championships set the stage for several major dance sport events on November 18th - 20th 2016 in Multiversum Hall inSchwechat. The highlight of the first day was the WDSF PD Super Grand Prix Standard. 15 couples from 11 countries had come to join the competition. At the end Donatas Vezelis - Lina Chatkeviciute from Lithuania won the Super Grand Prix ahead of Andrzej Sadecki - Karina Nawrot from Poland, who achieved runners-up position. The place was given to Csaba Lazlo - Viktoria Pali from Hungary.

16-11 WDSF PD World Championship Standard – Aarhus / Denmark

Danish International Dance Festival in Aarhus in November 11th - 13th 2016 started on Friday with the first highlight - WDSF Professional Division World Championship Standard. 41 couples had come to find the World Champion of the Professional Division. Emanuel Valeri - Tania Kehlet from Denmark won the title ... and still on the podium announced their termination of active dancing in competitions.

16-10 WDSF PD World Championship Ten Dance – Leipzig / Germany

20 couples of WDSF Professional Division joined the 2016 World Championship Ten Dance in Leipzig / Germany. The organizer - Oliver Talheim & Tina Spiesbach Event GbR - set the stage for this competition. Around 2.300 visitors had come to see the world championship and to take part in the ballroom event. At the end Anton Belyayev - Antoaneta Popova from Canada won 9 out of 10 dances in the final and became the new World Champions Ten Dance of WDSF Professional Division. Congratulations to the winner and to all finalists for excellent dancing!

16-08 WDSF PD World Super Grand Prix Standard – GOC Stuttgart / Germany

30th German Open Championships - held at Liederhalle in Stuttgart / Germany from August 9th till 13th this year - set the stage for WDSF Professional Division Super Grand Prix Standard. 61 couples from Professional Division participated the competition. At the end Benedetto Ferruggia - Claudia Köhler from Germany won the Super Grand Prix ahead of Emanuel Valeri - Tania Kehlet from Denmark. Donatas Vezelis - Lina Chatkeviciute from Lithuania achieved 3rd place.
