Riga / Latvia was the place for this year`s World Championship Youth 10Dance too. 31 nations had sent their national champions to join the World Championship. Sergey Rozhkov - Veronika Dichka from Russian Federation won the title ahead of runners-up Paraschiv Mihai-Vlad - Diandra-Aniela Illes from Romania.

33 countries were represented by their national champions at the WDSF World Championships 10 Dance on October 31st in Riga / Latvia. Latvia Open set the stage for this event. The winners of last year - Miha Vodicar / Nadiya Bychkova from Slovenia again won the title.

Do your dance on ice! This year you had the chance to do so at CEZ Arena in Ostrava / Czech Republic, which normally is sports hall for ice hockey. Czech Dance Sport Federation and the organizer perfectly prepared the hall for dance sport. 83 couples joined this year`s World Championship Latin. For the third time in line Aniello Langella - Khrystyna Moshenska from Italy won the title.

Sunday, September 21st 2014, was the day of the World Championship Showdance Latin in Chengdu. 16 couples from 11 countries had come to Chengdu to join the competition. 9 couples qualified for the final rounds. Only one day after the Master Class I of the WDSF Professional Division had found their champions, the World Championship Senior I Latin took place in Rimini too. 43 couples from 23 countries had come to join the world championships of senior I latin in Rimini. All five (!) continents were represented at the competition. At the end Timo Lindfors - Ekaterina Krutovskaya-Kauppinen from Finland won the title.

Campionati Italiani 2014 set the stage this year for 5 WDSF World Championships in July 12th - 13th in Rimini, organized by Federazione Italiana Danza Sportiva. Christian and Elena Bono from Italy won the title in senior I standard section July 12th in Rimini ahead of fellow countrymen Stefano Bernardini - Stefania Martellini, who achieved runner-up position.
