The participance of 104 couples at the event demonstrates the rightness of the decision of WDSF to offer competitions for this very active group of dancers. 14-03 WDSF World Championship Junior II Latin – Moscow / Russian Federation
Junior II dancers from all over the world had come to Moscow on March 30th to find their world champions. 67 couples started and performed tremendously. It was a great pleasure for the audience to live to see these young and very dedicated dancing latin. Semen Khrzhanovskiy - Vitalina Bunina from Russian Federation won the title ahead of Nikita Olinichenko - Elizaveta Pustornakova from Russian Federation too.
13-12 WDSF World Championship Formation Latin – Bremen / Germany
Grün-Gold Club Bremen the stage for this year`s WDSF World Championship Formation Latin again and the A-Team of Grün-Gold Club won the title once more. Congratulations! The European Champions - Klaipéda University Team Zuvédra I from Lithuania - were set on 4th place this time. The Vera Tyumen Latin Team form Russian Federation achieved runners-up position, while the second German formation team - FG TSZ Aachen / TD TSC Düsseldorf Rot-Weiss attained third place. November is the time for the World Championships. Every weekend a new competition. First we saw the 10Dance in Vienna, followed by the standard section in Kiev. On November 30th 87 couples from 49 nations gathered in Berlin / Germany to find the World Champions Latin 2013. Aniello Langella - Khrystyna Moshenska from Italy won the title for the second time. Gabriele Goffredo - Anna Matus from Moldova attained runners-up position ahead of Marius-Andrei Balan - Nina Bezzubova from Germany. See the videos of the final rounds and the photos at the gallery.

Ukrainian Open set the stage for this year´s world championship standard on November 23rd in Kiev. 70 couples from 39 countries joined the championship standard. Emanuel Valeri - Tania Kehlet from Denmark won the title ahead of Simone Segatori - Annette Sudol from Germany, who attained runners-up position. Vienna / Austria
Austrian Open Championships in Vienna set the stage for the 2013 World Championship 10Dance on November 16th. Thirty-eight countries were represented by their national champions in ten-dance section. Bjoern & Ashli from Denmark win the title for the 4th time. Last year the couple finished ten-dance section after the 3rd win of world championship. This year they "retired" and started again ... and won the title once again.
13-10 WDSF World Championship Senior I Standard – Dresden / Germany
Stefano Bernardini - Stefania Martellini from Italy win the title. Titleholder Tassilo & Sabine Lax from Germany are set on 2nd place. Stefano & Stefania achieve 1st place in tango and slow foxtrot. Tassilo & Sabine win the waltz and the viennese waltz. In the quickstep both couples attain four 1st places and three 2nd places. So the result was very tight.
13-10 WDSF World Championship Formation Standard 2013 – Tyumen / Russian Federation
The Vera Tyumen Standard Team are the new world champions in formation standard . Braunschweiger TSC from Germany are 2nd runner-up ahead of TSC Ludwigsburg / Germany . Univers Minsk from Belarus attained 4th place followed by Step in Time Formation from the Netherlands. Second Russian Formation Team Olympia achieved 6th place in the final.

Show-Dance Latin – Beijing / China
For the third time the WDSF World Championships Show-Dance Standard & Latin were organized by Chinese DanceSport Federation. It took place on September 7th and 8th in Beijing / China. 17 couples presented their magnificent shows. Eight couples qualified for the final rounds. Charles-Guillaume Schmitt – Elena Salikhova from Russia win the world championship show-dance with 42.19 points ahead of Simone Casula – Laura Marras from Italy (42.19 points). Third place is given to Fedor Poliansky – Dina Akhmetgareeva from Russia (40.46 points).

For the third time the WDSF World Championships Show-Dance Standard & Latin were organized by Chinese DanceSport Federation. It took place on September 7th and 8th in Beijing / China. 17 couples presented their magnificent shows in standard and 17 couples in latin. Eight couples qualified for the final rounds.
